ENEX i-LOCK Series H-AiL is the heavy industry Access Mechanical Trapped Key Safety Interlock product range and is suitable for all Access closure designs. The H-AiL ‘Patented’ lock portions and keys allow for either dual or single trapped key sequential or standalone operational procedures.

The basic principle of this safety equipment is to lock the Access Closure closed and (where applicable) eliminate access into the Closure until authorised pre-sequence procedures have been completed successfully. For dual key system requirements, only if both rotary keys are inserted and rotated 90°, will the internal locking mechanism be released allowing the H-AiL to be dis-engaged. For single key system, inserting and rotating the individual key, will release the internal locking mechanism allowing the H-AiL to be dis-engaged.

Each ‘Patented’ lock portion and rotary key is uniquely coded to allow a truly safe operating sequence procedure. Once the H-AiL has been dis-engaged, the initially inserted key will be trapped until the Access closure is closed
