ENEX i-LOCK Series H-MOViL is the heavy industry Actuator Operated (Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic) Mechanical Trapped Key Safety Interlock product range. It is suitable for a wide range of actuated valves comprising three constituent components: An Actuator Switch Panel Interface Interlock, A Actuator Manual Override Interlock and a Actuator Valve Position Prover Interlock. These three devices ensure: a) The actuator failsafe function is not compromised, b) The valve ‘absolute position’ is guaranteed and c) The actuator manual override cannot be used to override the Interlock function.

The Key Interlock system does not compromise the valves fail-safe function. The key Interlock system verifies the valves absolute position (open &/or closed) independent of any on-board instrumentation indication. A range of comparable designs are also available for spring-return and not-return hydraulic actuators and for spring-return pneumatic actuators.

Retro-fitting, cab be undertaken on ‘live’ plant with any necessity for process shut-down due to the Interlock mounting arrangements never compromises the certified pressure
